Governor Bala James Ngilari

Bala James Ngilari served as deputy to former Governor, Murtala Nyako and was ousted after the governor was impeached and he supposedly resigned.

Ngilari was sworn in at Government House by the President, Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Audu Lagre, following an order by a Federal High Court, Abuja, that the Acting Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, should vacate the office.

Ngilari, who was sworn in on Wednesday, October 8 has also appointed Mr. Chubado Tijjani as his Chief of Staff.
