PW Group began in 1948 as H & D Flinn Ltd. The company was founded by Irish Chartered Engineer, Hugo V. Flinn and was renamed Public Works Ltd in 1963. PW was one of the largest civil engineering companies in Ireland during the 1970s.
PW Nigeria Ltd was established in 1974 by Irish and Nigerian investors and has made a considerable contribution to the development of Nigeria.
