Power/Energy Projects Undertaken By Ogun State Government 2011-2014
• Electrical connection of Presidential Lodge, Commissioners' Quarters, Legislative Quarters and M.K.O. Abiola Stadium Complex to Governor's Office mini power plant, Oke-Mosan.
• Connection of Government House, Igbein, Southwest Resource Centre, Bureau of Lands Premises & Street Lighting facilities from MTD to Trade Fair Complex to the Governor's Office mini power plant in Oke-Mosan.
• Regular maintenance of electrical services in Government buildings and maintenance of street lighting facilities in Abeokuta and Ijebu-Ode.
• Over 200 electrical professionals were made to undergo training on energy Demand and Supply projection.
• World Bank Assisted Project on Electrification of Rural Communities in Ogun State.
500 Transformers to enhance access to electricity across the State
• Energization of 500 KVA/11 Transformer at State Hospital, Ijaye, Olomore, GRA Ibara, Ita-Iyalode, Quarry Road and Ago-Oba Communities, Abeokuta.
• Construction of 30.8km of high voltage transmission lines for the provision of electricity supply to public buildings and infrastructures within the state capital and environs.
Flag off 500 transformers by Governor Ibikunle Amosun
• Relocation and Re-routing of electricity transmission and distribution networks along the newly dualized roads across the State under the state urban renewal programme.
• Rehabilitation of street lighting installations along Abeokuta-Siun-Sagamu Dual Carriage Way and within the State capital.

Installation of 500KVA Transformer at Onihule Community, Ifo Local Government
• Procurement of street lighting maintenance lifting trucks and double cabin jeep for improved operational efficiency.
• Hosting of workshops on Energy demand and supply projections for professionals in conjunction with Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) and 2012 Nigeria Alternative Energy Expo in collaboration with Mathesis Consulting UK.
• 500KVA Perkins Generating set procured for Ibara-Ita-Eko-Sokori-Totoro street lighting facilities and 350KVA Perkin Generating set installed for Ibara flyover lightings and street lights.
• Construction of 500KVA 11/0.415 relief transformer substation, rewiring of lighting and power points, upgrading of control switches, rehabilitation and expansion of perimeter security lights at June 12 Cultural Centre.
• Inventory, Measurement, Valuation and Determination of Ogun state Government investment in Electricity Distribution Assets.
• Rehabilitation of vandalized transformer substations at Post Office Junction Totoro Abeokuta and Onigbale, Kara, Sabo, Abeokuta, Sagamu.
• Delivery and installation of 500KVA Perkins Generator to OGTV
• Delivery of 33KV transformer to OGTV
• Procurement of one 80KVA power generating set for OGBC (A.M) transmitting station on Ayetoro road, Abeokuta.
• Erection of Thunder Arrestor for the OGBC (F.M) Channel to shield equipment from thunder lighting.
• Decentralization of electric distribution networks for the Ministry of Finance, Office of the Accountant General and Ministry of Budget and Planning.
• Electricity supply to G.I.S. satellite centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, and Green House Centre, Kotopo, Abeokuta.
• Payment of Electricity Bills and purchase of Energy Meters for State Government Accounts.
• Routine maintenance services on street lighting installations, distribution networks and electrical services of public buildings.
