Governor Usman Sa'idu Nasamu Dakingari

Usman Sa'idu Nasamu Dakingari born on the 13th of september 1959 is a second term governor of Kebbi state.He won his re-election on the 26th of April 2011 on the platform of the peoples democratic party(PDP).

He attended the Sokoto State College of Arts & Science (1979–1981), and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1980 - 1984), earning a B.A. in Geography. He did his National Service in Ondo State, then worked as a Town Planning Officer at the Sokoto State Ministry of Works and Housing (1985–1989). In 1989 he joined the Nigerian Customs Service as Superintendent of Customs.

After leaving the Customs service, he successfully contested the governorship of Kebbi State in April 2007 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He has been elected for the second term having won the Kebbi Governorship election held on the 31st of March, 2012.
